★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly owners, very nice room and great prices to I point I was apprehensive as to staying there when I found it on line as I stay at a lot of hotels and motels so I thought it might be pretty marginal for the price, but as it wasn't a planned stay in Christchurch I just took the room. I was pleasantly surprised. Recommended

Great location, very spotless unit, easy parking
Only thing I would under rate was the size of our bed.
We were not expecting a double but more of a queen size
But we're used to ours which is a king.
And the pillows were not comfortable, I found them hard to sleep on, tossing and turning etc.
But Overall, it was good.

Overbearing rude man who checked me in, insists I must put my credit card number on a piece of paper check in form - already dislike this guy, so why trust him - not at all comfortable with hard copies insecurred. This guy then follows me to my room & points out the basic features I can see with my own eyes - idiocy & fake uncomfortable automation of service.
Nothing authentic at this place, avoid at all costs

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Glassware and cups were dirty a wine glass from previous occupancy still had alcohol in it dust on top of headboard and charged for towels that apparently couldn't be cleaned after wiping floor in bathroom after bath so took them home and put on normal wash in standard washing machine and came out perfectly clean so returned them and was refused refund be careful with them they are rip offs in my opinion

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thank you Lynne and Mark for our very comfortable two nights. The room put a smile on my face when I entered. So attractive, well thought out with everything needed for our stay. So much lighting, very rare in other motels we have stayed in. Linen and towels impeccable. Fantastic shower with plenty of pressure and hot water. Very comfortable bed. those two things very important for a pleasant stay I feel. A well presented book of information on dining and attractions for the tourists. Plenty of eateries close by. Lynne and Mark you are are to be congratulated on your welcoming style and management skills.
