β β β β β Nice trail to explore the old goldfield. Plenty of information signs explaining the history of the site, take the time to read through them. The trail passes through various workings, abandoned machinery, miner's hut and a graveyard. There is even a place that you can pan for gold.

β β β β β It's one of those places you've got to stop and check out, more for the stories you hear from the locals than anything else. Lovely old photos and models, lovely staff, peaceful rest stop.
