β β β β β I always prefer Smith n Wong if it comes to fish and chips it's soooo... yummy and fresh been going here for over 17 years such a good takeaway and there staff are amazing.

β β β β β Chips were crunchy but abit too salty, ordered the $11 special, good value for money but the hot dog batter was abit undercooked and chewy. Owners were friendly, plenty of carpark out front.

I ordered the $13 special... Wow.. comes with chips, 3 large fish, hotdog on a stick & 3 sausages. Now that's what I call a bargain.?

β β β β β Never disappoints, always tasty and they use fresh oil. The prices are incredibly reasonable also. I live in Tat North but happily travel to Smith and Wongs for the quality.

β β β β β If you are getting fish and chips quite tasty and reasonable price.. have enjoyed many of these meals with great pleasure.
However tonight their Chinese food was a bit lackluster and wontons were filled incredibly small for size of wrapper.

β β β β β Decided to try this place for a Mother's Day treat and wow, very pleasantly surprised. The spring roll was big and had a nice crunch, not too greasy. The BBQ fried rice and sweet & sour pork were both very decent portions. The fried rice had a nice amount of the meat and veges. I found it a touch bland for my tastes but it went really well with the sweet & sour which was truly the highlight of the meal. Tender meat on the inside and not too soggy on the outside. Sauce was tasty and didn't have that artificial flavor that some places use. Definitely going to be our new regular Chippy. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait because they are very busy and popular.
