β β β β β Not recommended for those with food allergies/sensitivities
Ordered the black bean pita on a gluten free wrap. I was asked if the salads were okay for me to have as wheat had been best them which was okay.
However I got home to eat the wrap & began to feel unwell. Searched the ingredients of the black bean patty and read it contained wheat & egg.
Am dumbfounded that I'd be asked about the proximity of wheat to the salads yet not be told the protein was loaded with wheat and egg.
Will be unwell now for a few days now

β β β β β I was extremely surprised and happy after my visit to Pita Pit Lincoln Road.
My son wanted to go there, I figured everything would be off-limits for me (Gluten free coeliac) but the young staff members were so helpful and friendly. I had a delicious Pita wrap, they handled allergies with real care and understanding. Well done, it was a rare treat for me to eat out with my son - can't wait for the next one at Pita Pit!

β β β β β First visit since lockdown. Usually enjoy my pit visits. But am finding out that home cooked is the best tasting but always nice to have someone else cook and prepare a meal for you. Thanks pita pit. This branch of Pita Pit is still one of the better branches out there! Keep up the good work.

β β β β β I didn't realize how bad this branch until I visited few other branches.Β Just after 1800 almost nothing left in salad selection.Β Just leftovers of everything.Β Staff is working by herself running around like crazy ,sweating and only care to catch up with orders because people are waiting.Β After paying for my salad I realized there were almost nothing to choose in the salad bar literally half of what I normally get was missing.Β And you pay same price for that as everywhere else. Terrible branch never come back again.Β Rather drive a bit further but get proper m

β β β β β Love this place! Friendly, helpful staff; lovely fresh veges to make either a pita (with a gluten free option) or a salad.They take extra care for those sensitive to gluten. The sauces are all clearly labelled on the top, so the gf options (most of them) are easy to pick. My fav gf is teriyaki chicken salad.

β β β β β Very dissapointed. On Thursday I placed a pickup Uber eats order. Walking to and from the restaurant takes 10 mins so I set off around the time the pick up order was due. When I arrived I was dismayed to discover my order had been forgotten and was not even being prepared, and would be another 15 mins! Bye lunch break. The man on duty apologized, but when I got the food the order was wrong. He had given me the wrong order. While I understand he was busy and alone, this is no excuse for wrong food. I think from now on I will pay the extra and have it delivered from Te atatu.
