★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really disappointed with this gym. Have been coming here for the past two or three years, but have had a nightmare with them the past couple of weeks. Cancelled my membership back in November (have the emails/dated cancellation form) and they still charged me in January.
Contacted them about this and they've only just cancelled my membership. They stopped responding when I mentioned I had cancelled in November and wanted a refund.
The crazy thing is we only cancelled our memberships because we were heading overseas for a year. I was happy to come back to the gym after that, but won't be now. One of the most disappointing experiences I've ever had with any business in NZ.
If they ever get back to me I will update my review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would 100% recommend this gym. Always exceptionally clean. Great staff especially Hayden the manager :) he always smiley and welcoming every single day. Even when its raining. Spacious exercise area with two different facilities operating. Daily HIIT classes Monday to Thursdays free for all members.
Alround amazing happy place to be. Full of amazing staff who are wanting to help you smash your goals and push you further. And a wicked 3D body scanner to help monitor your progress. :)
10/10 rate it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been a member of Snap Fitness for 3 years now and absolutely love it! Amazing equipment with two gyms on site, which makes it great as it separates the functional side (big compound lifts etc) to smaller exercises. The staff are always friendly and you can have such great banter with them and the gym is always tidy, very clean and kept up to amazing standard! Highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good space to workout in. I went early morning so only a couple of other gym users. Some of the gear was in need of attention. Has a smaller building with weights and cardio equipment and a larger area for functional training i.e crossfit activities that is located a short walk away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Warning!!! they trick customers and do not tell you the extra direct debit fees of $2 that they charge on the top of the advertised price. You find out only when you go in and start filing the membership form, I mean they call it direct debit fees, So the money is going from your bank to their bank all automatic and it does not cost anything to any party but that is just another way to trick customers with hidden fees. I recommend to not to join, there are many better gyms than this greedy money hungry company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think the new management is great. I'm leaving this review just as I'm signing off snap fitness but I do like the gym. It is on the smaller side and could use a few more machines but it's not overcrowded even during peak times. Good clean little gym tucked away off Riccarton road.
