★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Post Covid they so go Local - we celebrated our Grandson's birthday Saturday afternoon with a large group - I'm very disappointed in the whole experience. From being given a coffee order I was told was ordered that I felt obliged to take to not cause a scene - to well below attentive service.
With the money we spent I will definitely not go back there. The food was ok but the rest of the service brought the whole experience down. Sorry guys your servers let the Team down from not even adequately waiting the table to take everyones order at once to checking on how things were going - a big thumbs down! Will be going elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place to start a rainy day on Kaikōura. The food and beverages were superb, full of flavors and texture.
Go without hesitation : hot chocolate, Heirloom tomato& avo and Puhoi goat cheese toast, Sime's signature braised ham hock egg hollandaise!!
The staff super friendly and polite!! You'll love this place!!
