โ โ โ โ โ Very nice store. We got a baby carrier for a good deal. The staff guy has been very nice and helpful. Still, I will never buy a new bed or couch in New Zealand. Anyway, recommend when they have sales.

โ โ โ โ โ Worst customer service I've ever experienced. There is literally no way to speak to someone without physically visiting the store. Staff has dropped the ball too many times to count. Months later, I still have no access to my credit note from the manufacturer of the defective fridge, despite Smiths City confirming months ago that they have received it, just haven't lodged it and would call me to confirm. Since then the store manager went on extended leave (it's Feb and they're not due back until July). The contact they left in their automatic email reply sent an automatic reply of their own - they're no longer with Smiths City. Every call to the only number ever listed for the store results in a 10 minute wait time before even given an option to request call back.

โ โ โ โ โ Found some matching dinner table chairs to go with our new expensive table. We wanted 8, checked the quantity, all good then the price. We found a for sale tag showing $100 less which they honoured. Very impressed, relieved and happy with our purchase. Thank you.
