★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not the most welcoming spa place! When I walked in there , receptionist just looked at me
without even greeting me and that made me feel unwelcomed. So I introduced myself and informed her about my appointment! Told me to wait and unfortunately they haven't book my appointment. I was told that my appointment has been cancelled and no one is available to give me a massage!
Informed the receptionist that I booked my appointment the day before- a massage and eyebrow wax but Christine (manager) phoned me that same day to say they dont have a room for me to have my eyebrows done ,so I told her to cancel my eyebrow appointment but will still have the massage.
Obviously she cancelled both appointments! I understand it is a miscommunication but it is very disappointing because I have been wanting to have a massage for ages as I am a mom with two little kids under two and having a massage is a little treat for me. I also paid a babysitter so someone can look after my babies.
To the management of the Spring Spa Ponsonby please ensure that whoever is taking the bookings is not deaf and has a clear presence of mind.
Christine your manager has cost me a lot of hassle and money for nothing!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was very impressed with this day spa. The staff were very friendly. The waiting area was very neat and tidy and relaxing. The manicure was really nice and then I had a guam treatment done, which was really relaxing. Must say the ladies that work there were very good at what they do. Will definitely be going back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely spa setting similar to their Bali location with light interiors all sparkling clean and inviting. Got my finger and toe nails gel polished and they lasted for over a month!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have been very disappointed with Spring Spa. We have had out double booking cancelled as they said they hadn't been able to confirm with us via text or email. We never got any of these, and got this cancellation text 24 hrs before out due time. I had phoned and left a message before this text same day asking if there was any space extra for a facial as well as our massages.I phoned immediately, got told weve cancelled you, so then my husband phoned and he got hung up on after a short conversation ! No effort has been made to remedy the situation, and manager unavailable and still waiting to hear from her.! We have 7hrs of vouchers, that's $1000 worth, and we now can't get in till 28 th May !! there was no offer of getting in on a cancellation, or anything and we found the receptionist, a stroppy little missy. The massages are wonderful, with lovely Balance girls and we have been left very disappointed, with a bad taste in our mouths.
5 stars for massages, 0 stars for communication

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Spring spa for the first time today and it was great! Big smile from the receptionist and a great lounge to sit and wait for your appointment. The massage was fully immersive with relaxing aromas and music that sends me to Bali.
Finished and had a glass of wine at Prego next door after..Bonus!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really good Thai massage but in a too cold room (matching the front desk welcome) it was all a bit rub, towel, thank you pal. No pre massage consulation and i was just left to get dressed and go when it was over. No offer of a drink of water and the person at the desk didnt even acknowledge me leaving. Thanks to my lovely daughter for the Birthday present, but guess i just wasnt their preferred sort of client.

The massage was super relaxing with the soft music in the background and also enjoyed my lash tint service as I received a complimentary arm & scalp massage while my lashes processed. Thank you for making my bday such a relaxing experience! :)
