★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After reading the other reviews here, I was reluctant to visit this Subway branch, but because it's so close to work, I bit the bullet and went for it anyway. I'm glad I did too, because the service was super fast and the sub had a generous amount of fillings. The staff member I dealt with was also very friendly and helpful. Thank you Subway Hornby =)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very rude and disrespectful staff. Ive never had such an experience anywhere. The lady who served me had 0 care about the food im ordering and looked at me up and down several times and even rolled her eyes at me. Will definitely not come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No salad bowl available at the spitfire Square in Christchurch NZ ! I have been in the subway three times and on the last visit the person said they can't get the stuff for the salad bowls??! I went to the hornby subway in christchurch and said they never heard of such rubbish !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Will never go here again. Rude staff member, didnt catch her name. An absolute shocker for customer service. Told her to stop the order and walked out. I guess no point in reviews as owners and managers dont resolve the problem when complaints are made.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had to wait for a bit to get my sandwich , but i didnt mind as there was only one person there and she was doing her best, then the girl who was on her break walked in and started making my sandwich, i didnt know the names of the ingredients that goes in the sandwich so i normally point it out and in all the subways i have been they kinda get it but this girl was rude and got angry at me saying she cant see where i am pointing at!! I was like i dont know the name of the ingredient so thats why i am.pointing it out, then then again she said the same thing, ! I had to wait all that time there and then see this persons bad behaviour aswell , we the customers are here of the food not to see your drama!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would love to give 0 star if possible. Very rude customer service. Aimee was the girl, i was talking to, she started screaming that you can't order the sub. We wanted vegie delite with extra veggy patty on 6 inches. But she said we can't do that. I understand that can be the policy but the way she treated us was very inappropriate. When I asked can i get you name, she started yelling that if you dont want anything. You can leave the store right now. First she refused to give her name and both of the girls weren't even wearing the name badge. Then i told her that i dont want to speak to you because of your rude behavior. I started talking to other girl (sage) and then she gave the names. She said there is no incharge at this time. I went to store at 2.25 pm on 4th May 2022.
Hopefully some strong action must be taken against this kind of behavior. This is not the way you treat your customers. I think this would be my final visit to the hornby subway.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to subway yesterday with my brother for a meal but can't get it because of very rude and inappropriate way of talking by the staff name Aimee. Never expected this kind of customer service from such a big brand. For sure never been there again and also recommend others to don't go.
