From booking right through to the end of the trip everything went perfectly and they put us onto some big kingfish and very nice snapper. Good boat & gear, great skipper and just a perfect day out on the water. Highly recommended and we'd go back in a flash, thanks guys.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My father and I booked a marlin trip with Captain Ross and his deck hand Steve. We had an amazing time out on the water however we didn’t hook into a marlin but had two close calls as they came up hard on the baits but just didn’t fully commit...that’s fishing for ya. Tons of action on skip jack and albacore tuna. Ended up landing a nice 25kg yellow tail towards the end of the trip! If you want to get your moneys worth for a charter check these guys out! They fish hard for the whole duration of the trip and I’m really please with my experience on the water! Cheers!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Target Charters has to be the best charter in the bay of islands. We have been out multiple times with Ross on family fishing trips and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and catching the fish! Ross's knowledge and passion for fishing is obvious from the moment you step on board. Catching live bait was so much fun for the kids. The boat is well equipped, perfect for families or groups to enjoy a day out on the water with kitchen, toilet and couches for a nap needed. Highly recommend Target for the best fishing charter experience in the stunning bay of islands.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience with Ross and his best mate Steve. He put is on fish including a couple of Blue Marlin, but just didn't take the lure. However, we did get to see them, dolphins, and we hooked a number of tuna including an Albacore and a good 25kg, or almost 60lb Yellow Fin Tuna.
Thanks for the great day, and we'll be back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is our second trip with Ross and again we are more than happy. Took our staff out for a great day of fishing and they caught all the fish! Once again we were put straight on the fish of choice and fully supported by the crew through the catch. It was an awesome day out on the water and as we took in all that beautiful scenery on the trip back our fish was filleted for us. Many thanks ??
