★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Left prescription glasses in cab. Response when phoning 3 days later has been appalling. Quite abrupt & rude. Even suggested i hadn't used their services. No follow up. Suspect I will be buying a new pair. Have used this firm in the past but never again and would not recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our group ordered a taxi van for 10.30pm at around 2pm that day. Lady on the phone was abrupt, confirmed we were booked in and seemed like she just wanted us off the phone.
We called back at 8.00pm to confirm that we are booked in and she said that no vans were available but they would sent two cars.
No taxi van turned up, no cars turned up. We called again and were on hold for 25 minutes to be told "we are busy. We might be able to send someone, we will see." No taxis turned up at all.
Why take bookings if you don't actually do bookings? Hugely disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Driver went well over 80km, probably 90km or more in 50km zones, slammed on their brakes at a stop sign not knowing it was even there and came nowhere near to a stop, ran the stop sign. Almost hit a crossing island and went around tight corners that are about 30km corners at about 70km. Almost hit multiple parked cars. My partner was crying and he carried on speeding down the lakefront at atleast 80km. Disgusting driving. Deserves to be fired and license taken off him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As visitors to the area we were looking for a taxi from Acacia Bay to Taupo. Unfortunately this company couldn’t even find our address on google maps to be able to book a taxi. Disappointing for a local taxi company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rung another company first who could not guarantee a van to pick up at 7pm (I called 3 hours in advance) and offered 2taxis if they couldn't get a van. Long story but NO!
So I called this company who's friendly operator sorted it promptly and was super great. Taxi driver turned at on time, he was professional and friendly and a good driver.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a taxi on NYE , I knew there would be a massive wait. After about an hour I called back to check on the taxi that I had ordered and they had confirmed . The man told me its definitely on its way. I asked for an ETA then he told me it'd be 3-4 hour wait. Why on Earth take all of these orders if you can't actually pick people up ?
