★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered the panang curry, after waiting an hour my whole table had their meals and had almost finished when they gave me the rice to go with the curry. My curry still didn’t arrive after a further 15 or so minutes. I then asked where my curry was and they responded my wrong order. Cancelled my order and went to BK. The worst part was they still charged me for the rice I didn’t eat with my non existent curry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Communication all time low. Ordered online no information about what time the order would be ready to be picked up, so called them and we were told 20 minutes. Arrived 20 minutes later to be told it was another 15-20 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Friendly and accommodating staff, itvwas a busy weekend today, with only 2 staff on the floor keeping up with all the orders. They were both nice which I really appreciate. Ambience has a homey feeling too, food is tasty and affordable. Had pad thai and tom yum soup for this cold night --it was superb! But oh, i think the tom yum serving isn't enough for 1 serving and needs more spices but overall, the experience was great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very satisfied and happy with our visit to Taupo Thai. We ordered the whole snapper in Chilies, ginger and coriander. The flavors were delicious - sweet and spicy and fragrant. We also had a vegetarian dish with tofu and vegetables with basil, garlic and Chile which was excellent. Will come again next time we're in Taupo.
