★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sie war etwas schwer zu finden, da das Schild etwas abseits des Weges stand und „ziemlich“ zugewachsen war. Von Oben hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Endeavour Inlet. Tod war super nett und seine Pizza schmeckte hervorragend! Wenn es sich ergibt , kommen wir wieder...
 It was a bit difficult to find because the sign was a little off the path and was "overgrown". From the top you have a great view of the Endeavor Inlet. Tod was super nice and his pizza tasted great! If it turns out, we will come back ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I travelled across New Zealands South- and North Island for one year. I saw a lot of stunning landscapes and spent a wonderful time in nature, but Marlborough Sounds and especially Endeavour Inlet sticks in my memory like no other place. It is such a peaceful place and Rod - the most relaxed and inspiring host you can imagine made the stay truely remarkable. He took me fishing, let me use the kayaks and he really made me feel like home. And: His dogs are the best dogs in the world! I hope to see you again:)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I stayed there a while to help for different chores in the lodge as woofer. It a one of the best experience i had in NZ. The view from there was stunning! Thanks to Rod, i learned how to make a tasty bread ans so delicious diners, i learned how to fish and he try to teach me how to ride his boat. I also had the chance to kayak and to see the fireflies by a night bush walking.
This is a peaceful gem on Queen Charlotte track.
Thanks again Rod for all your help and amazing experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled across blue water lodge rather late in the day after a minor crisis (husband lost wedding ring) took us off our planned course on the Queen Charlotte track. Debbie took care of us in a vulnerable moment - a newly renovated room, gourmet chocolates and a delicious platter overlooking the sunset and surrounding mountains. We awoke to an equally delicious breakfast and Debbie helped to send out an email to residents requesting help for our ring. I’m so happy to say our ring was found and returned to us the very next day by some good samaritans. So thank you Blue water lodge for taking such good care of us! We will definitely be back and very much appreciate your kind hospitality
