Unprovoked attack and verbally assaulted a female customer in the mall. For no apparent reason. She came in commenting on what he said and the barbers just laughed at her face. We’d really like this resolved and heard back from soon. Will not be returning here.

While i was getting my hair cut today a distressed female came in about a situation she had encounted with another barber. he had verbally abused her throughout the mall, she was trying to express her feelings to the barber doing my cut but all he had to say was there was nothing he could do and started laughing at her. will not be returning to the store after this experience.

Omg. I dont think one of the barbers there’s knows what he’s doin. He put his scissors down, long paused (i think he’a figuring out what kindo of scissor he gonna use). Happened multiple times while cutting my hair. I think he’s just playing around. He cut my hair short, I clearly gave him instructions but he just did his own thing.
WILL NOT BE BACK EVER! Even if its a free hair cut

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been getting my hair cut at The Grooming Cave for a couple of years now. I have probably had a cut by every team member and the result is always perfect!! I honestly think these guys give one of the best cuts here in Auckland. If you are in Sylvia Park drop in and see for yourself. Excellent haircuts and beard trims by a super friendly crew.
Edit: and to the negative reviews, I was getting my haircut when this "abuse" situation happened. The lovely young lady you refer to stood in the door of TGC hurling abuse at the owner in front of all his customers while he was giving a customer a haircut. This was apparently because one of his staff (out of uniform and on their day off) said something to her as he walked past her in the mall. This was personal (they knew each other) and nothing to do with the business you are reviewing. I am sure TGC can do without your business and judgement.

the staff are defs a vibe over there and the cuts are one of the best I've ever received. situated right in the heart of NZ retail, this is also a convenient place to get cuts. 10/10 would come again

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly these guys do the best haircuts in Auckland. I had been here a couple of times when I lived nearby and was always impressed with how I looked after. I had moved recently and went and tried a few other barbers and got my hair butchered. So came back here to get the job done right. Definitely will be coming back more often.
