★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely rooms. Right by downtown/CBD with a 15 minute walk. Great staff. Super quiet and chill and comfy. Plenty of space to work in our double queen room - the two desks were great! Super clean.

Reasonable food either in the restaurant or delivered to the room.
I think I might have found my preferred place to stay in Nelson.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not good in the restaurant, I ordered an aged beef and ask a medium cook, then they gave me a well done beef , I reckon the beef also not a aged one, because it is really tough. The presentation also poor, just some mushroom, I can’t taste any beef flavor, that was really bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Clean and tidy but poor sound damping between walls and upstairs banging about at all hours. Restaurant could not cope with a simple breakfast bacon and sausage bread not topped up in a timely manner and somewhat grumpy front of house to boot in restaurant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place, price and facilities. Lukewarm reception, could have done with a rubbish bin for used femine products and freezer smelt foul initially (maybe leave open if unit not in use). That said, would stay again, ?
