★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was a great base to explore the Taupo cycle trails. Classic feeling but modern renovated room was ideal with private guest garden and space to store the bike. Close to all the Taupo tourist spots but far enough away to feel relaxed and calm. Will return

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great tidy room. And a really big relaxing lounge area too. We had a couple of people visit while we were there and there was loads of room for everyone to sit comfortably. Comfy bed as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful unique modern retro rooms ours was warm, clean and spacious tastefully decorated with a nod to the 50s in some real retro but nice pieces. Very comfortable beds and sofa, plenty of hot water in the shower and a delightful garden area perfect location as 5 mins walk to the lake. Beautiful area and lovely host. Highest recommendation I can give as wouldn't change a thing, loved it.
