★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I do not recommend this place staff are rude i tryed twice to cancel a booking once at the motel and also over the phone a week prior to staying and they still charged me not to mention there was renovations and drills going when i went to cancel.
Not happy at all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very basic accomodation. Would be three stars if the rooms had air conditioning it was very hot and a single fan doesn't cut it. They also had some bikers turn up and rev their engines in the pool area. Only reason it is two stars and not one is it's pretty affordable lake front accomodation. I would check elsewhere first though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reception staff were really friendly and the rooms were clean. The rooms were really stuffy and hot though, the one fan just blew around the hot air. and the walls were so thin you can hear every footstep the guests upstairs made.

The beds were really uncomfortable and really basic room amenities.
Unnerving that motel accesses money from Visa after giving details, rather than waiting for customer to swipe.
I won't be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As I first arrived lots of parking ? availability ,I booked on line 15 minutes before I arrived and they recieved booking
Receptionist smiling welcoming helpful in my enquiries about a place to go walking ?♂️in Taupo.
I had room 29 comfortable size for a couple, tv shower and ? bath.
I had an over night stay and can only share my experience built on that.
Outdoor Swimming pool and spa .
The great thing about the motel they have restaurant which was absolutely fantastic
but that's another review.
Will be coming back again if returning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great location, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately our room wasn't very clean, we found hairs all over the bed sheet, which might suggest that the sheets hadn't been washed after the previous occupant.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had such a great time on our first stay that we stayed again a week later on our way home. Room was clean and had everything needed for a comfortable night - including a bath! The real stars in this place are the staff - bar manager Jas gave us such a warm welcome and a level of service we've rarely experienced elsewhere. Both bar staff were so lovely and so accommodating - absolute gems! On our second stay we also had the pleasure of meeting the owners and, once again, friendliness and hospitality were outstanding. We've recommended Lakefront Lodge to all our friends ... at the very minimum a drink in the bar is essential on any trip to Taupo.
