★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome place to stay, tidy self contained units, great value and great service. Lively hosts. We did the tongariro crossing and shuttle was able to be booked through the lodge as well which was an additional bonus. Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recommend this place very highly. The hosts are super helpful and friendly. In fact they went well beyond what they had to in order to assist some family members. Our room (Unit 1) had recently been redecorated and was wonderfully spacious and appointed. The other units looked to be similar. The unit was very clean, the bed was so comfortable and there were lounge chairs to relax in while watching the full range of Sky channels and using the reliable WiFi. Great value central accommodation - you won't be disappointed with your stay here.
