★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Could be tidier, but prices are very low, and service is good. I tend to stay away from cheap stores like this as quality is always compromised, but I had to go here out of necessity as stores are limited in such a small town, and they had everything I needed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible customer service from The Warehouse Whakatane. Purchased an expensive air bed one year ago that has only been used about 8 nights for camping. It split along one of the seams. Took back with proof of purchase and they didn’t want to know saying 60 day warranty which is totally against all consumer guarantees as a product must be fit for purport and last an expected length of time. I will now boycott and will lodge at small claims as a matter of principle.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ahhh, The Warehouse, where everyone gets a bargain. A chain of discount home good stores if you've never been here before. They have everything from music, jewellery, electronics/appliances, clothes & shoes, furniture, sporting goods, garden & automotive, and snacks & drinks. The stuff you get here meets the old axiom of 'you get what you pay for'. The stuff you can get here is cheaper (perhaps not as cheap as the dollar store but they're probably better quality too) for one reason or another, e.g. big bag of laundry powder with a foreign language on the packet (but who cares, it's still laundry power). You won't get top-end brands or kit that'll last a lifetime but if you need some tools for casual use or a pair of shoes that might last a season, etc for not too much money then this is the place for you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Disappointed in the lack of basic customer service skills from some staff, long waits in the lines and ridiculous checkout lay out that has been the same for years, needs a much needed upgrade. Stock however has improved and the variety is good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Over the past couple of days I have been into the store, looking for winter PJs, only to find that Men's ones are best for me & much cheaper than Women's; also I got a fleecy lined blanket that is so amazing and warm on these cool nights. Thanks to the great staff and they are so quick to help out.. Bless you.
