★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Owned by the beautiful couple Brenda and her husband, this is a fantastic place. Great ambience and everything around the apartment is perfect. Ideal place for a small crowed. The short stay of some members of the Sri Lanka Lawyers' Cricket team gave them immense satisfaction. There is a saloon ,indian store, chinese food joint near by .Two super markets are within walking distance.

Unfortunately we had a VEY sour experience with the owners, we found Brenda unreasonable, rude and we were even accused of stealing towels and our credit card was charged for them without first being asked where they were. i would therefore not recommend these apartments to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a fantastic stay at The York Apartments. The host Brenda was very helpful when ever we needed something. The Apartment was very new and so cosy. It had everything we needed. It even had a welcoming pack. Lots of food in the cupboard and fridge for when you arrive. Nothing was missing. We’ve never seen someone look after their guests like that. We loved the fire place at night. Since it was winter starting and chilly outside. We stayed here two months and it felt like home. Brenda has a hair salon, next to the apartments too I went there too to have my hair done. I walked out very happy. We recommend The York Apartment highly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent stay, the place has such a welcoming and calming vibe. Clean and tidy. Brenda and Harry were wonderful hosts and Brenda's attention to detail is immaculate. Parks and shops in walking distance with supermarket a short drive away. Definitely recommend this place and will be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed here for a work trip and the owners went above and beyond for us. We received a welcome text advising us of directions and a wonderful assortment of goodies - chocolates on beds, wine and cheese, some fruit and some bread and eggs. Brenda had turned on the heating for us to ensure that the town house was warm and toasty. Would highly recommend if you are after a warm, comfortable home with great showers and bedding and wonderful hosts

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ At late notice Brenda and Harry were able to provide one of their units in an emergency. Brenda was very gracious and kind. Less than a five minute drive into the city, the apartments are comfortable and very pleasant, with the appreciated extras like cheese and crackers and chocolates on the bed. They are also maintained in a very tidy and clean condition and are well equipped with full kitchen, wifi, TV, laundry facilities etc. There would certainly be plenty of space for large groups. I would fully recommend.
