★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to the Lookout instead of the Rocks due to high tide. The Lookout provides a majestic view of the rocks from the top of the cliff. The car park is small & it’s next to a cemetery. I wonder lot many ppl know this spot & so I had the place all to myself even though I was there during Easter break. Strongly recommended especially when u are not able to land on the beach & had closer look at the Rocks!

if you are planning to visit the beach then please check the low tide timings as it is really hard to access the actual three sisters and the rock during high tide.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Turn on to Pilot road follow it all the way to the end where the parking is at the dead end where sign is. There's a step at the fence next to gate then follow the track to the lookout point on edge of cliffs overlooking the black sands of the Westcoast

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place.. but no place to sit and view this amazing beauty? we reached during sunset time.. so it was spectacular to watch sunset over the hills and look at beach-mt taranaki-elephant rocks- sunset ..all in one frame?
