The pies here are the best I've ever tasted anywhere ever.
I don't know what else Turangi has to offer someone living here but am considering moving nearby to eat more of their pies.
For reference, I had the beef steak and cheese and my buddy had chicken and cheese and was nearly as impressed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The steak and cheese pie I had was extremely tasty and tender like a braised stew. The pastry was a bit overdone and the price of chips was a bit dear but all in all, pretty good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great bakery, huge collection of bakery items to choose from and very cheap. Pies, sandwiches, desserts, coffee, fish & chips and fried chicken, they have everything here. Cheap combos as well as cabinet food. Service is super fast and staff is lovely. Only it's got a very small seating area, mostly runs on takeaway. Venison pie, smokes fish & salmon pies are speciality. Love the fried chicken & fries here very salty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We don’t normally eat pies but having arrived in Turangi at 7.30am in the morning on our motorbikes there wasn’t much else open! So we thought we would try our luck here. We weren’t disappointed. Honestly the BEST pie I have ever had - chicken, camembert and cranberry. My hubby had bacon, egg and cheese and that was pretty good too! The coffee was great and if I pass through Turangi again this place will be first on my list!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fresh food, chips made on demand. Sandwich’s was good. Pie was on the pricey side but well made with good flavours. Chicken and chips deal was good however chicken was a bit oily as it sat in the heater without being able to drip. Great selection of sweet savoury and pies.

For me the steak one is a bit rich flavor and chicken is delicious
Shame I miss the seafood pie
