★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going to the Takanini Unichem Pharmacy (next to Countdown Takanini) for some years now. I actually live in the CBD, but my work and also my Doctor are out in South Auckland where I was born and raised. Shoba, Raj and the Team look after me and make me feel so welcome. They are busy people and yet they manage to somehow make me feel important and that's not something you see much of these days. I was also able to get my second Covid-19 vaccination there, which was so convenient. Thanks to the whole Team, this is why I keep going back! :-)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was vaccinated for my 2nd covid dose here today and I have to say what very efficient staff and store...it is so well organized, no waiting so in out in less than 30 minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor customer service. 4 staff mucking around in store with 3-4 customers waiting at checkout. They do not care the value of your time. I recommend the other Unichem by the warehouse.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor service today! Lady at counter would rather focus on counting banking coins than helping customers. Got told to "wait" until she's finished counting..yeah waited too long. Store wasn't busy at the time too. Funny though that a lady walks in a while after I've been waiting...and she gets served right away? hmm INTERESTING. Not coming back here again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got my vaccine there and it was an unorganized mess. Those who had booked in had to wait over 2 hours for their vaccine. And when asking the staff how long it would take, the staff said if you're not happy then leave. There were multiple people who experienced this as well

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I first started getting my prescriptions from there 3 years ago, I thought, they were a nice bunch of people, respectful, courteous, pharmacist was very happy to explain your prescription, if you had concerns. Prescriptions were at the longest wait 5mins. Bonus for me then, was, when a repeat was due, to be picked up, I recieved a courtesy call. 3 yrs on, the service has deteriorated, customer service, seems to be reserved to certain customers as to who is served first. Prescriptions are given in drips and drags....if you cannot fill all of the script, tell the blinkin customer before you fill it. Why the heck charge the customer for partial items and that you have to come back to get the rest in 2-3 flippin days, and on the flippin invoice, owing X amount. This has happened on more than one occasion....I am on this particular medication for the rest of my bloody life and am still getting partial scripts filled. Blinkin ridiculous....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here for my COVID-19 vaccination two times. First time, one old sir told me I should came between 12pm to 1pm next day. I came back next day at 12pm, one girl said they will start at 1:30pm. When I back at 1:30pm, more than 10 people were waiting, but no any nurse. Until 2pm, one nurse came and started work. Very slowly. Just finished 4 people, she stopped and went to pharmacy to help there did something. They didn't care that there were more than ten people waiting for their vaccination. So bad service!
