★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All good experience. Daughter had a muffin and juice. I had a beer (Guinness on tap was out) on tap and the advantage burger $30 and bun was as stale as mama’s last visit’s fruitcake. All the filling was tops though. Only 3 food places open though and this seemed the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Came in last Wednesday before my flight and everything was great! The food was delicious - I had the vegetarian burger they have. And a delicious bourbon drink to go with it.
Service was great, always smiling and making it light and fun. I noticed tables were being wiped and sanitised after every use - so much care put in to this place!
Overall, I terrific experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 45 dollars for a chicken and bacon sandwich and a cheese and tomato crosant and the bread and crosant where stale, the cheese was dry on the edges, tomato was soggy. Was totally riot of by this Cafe. The only reason we went their was because everything else was closed

Unfortunately upon visiting Vantage Bar today at Auckland Airport we were told by “T” the bar manager that “we don’t accept your type in here” when we presented our international vaccine passports which allowed us entry into NZ. We were then immediately told to leave with him pointing to the empty waiting airport with absolute disgust which was horrifying. I do hope someone addresses this man’s discriminatory and somewhat racist demeanour.
As Kiwi’s living abroad, it is incredibly distressing to be treated this way, when we have been welcomed in all other places in NZ throughout our stay. It certainly put a dampener on what had been this far, a wonderful trip back home.
