Worse experience I have had with. I used a treat me voucher that has two pair of frames under 120 and two sets of single vision lenses plus some eye tests. I went through the tests as recommended, got two frames $128 and $88 and one multicoated lens for extra $44. Paid $52, the difference of $8 for frame and extra for the lens. Never gave me any receipt saying it is not needed(which I shouldn't have believed at that time). When I got an SMS to collect them after two weeks, that is when things went all wrong. 1) Both lenses were plain, 2) one frame was changed (not the one I selected) and when I asked for the receipt they gave me one that was generated few minutes ago saying that I had one extra eye test done that cost me $98 but they had charged me only $52 by mistake. Also according to that lady, I never placed order for multicoated lens. I kept telling them that I got everything against a voucher but the lady there refused to listen and kept on saying that 'I distinctly remember blah blah blah' . When I asked when did you generated the receipt since you never gave me any thing, she said that at the time of placing the order and of course the date on the receipt was wrong. After wasting about two hours (of office time) I finally got what I had paid for (plus a receipt and report which again she denied having any) by waiting for another two weeks. And btw, they hadn't even charged the voucher which meant that I could have used it again. My advice, avoid this deal if possible and if you do have to go then ask for everything beforehand in writing especially the receipt and take pictures of the frame you have selected along with price. The price should be mentioned in receipt too.

Worst experience I have had with. I used a treat me voucher that has two pair of frames under 120 and two sets of single vision lenses plus an eye test. During the day of test i was advised that my left eye number has gone up by 0.25 and so that would not be covered under the treat me voucher and i need to pay $200 for lenses and coating extras. So on top of $50 voucher they asked me to pay $300 for two pair of glasses. I didn't go with that and booked my appointment with Specsaver Sylvia Park. After all the examination they advised that my eye number is stable. There is no change in the vision. So It is absolutely clear that they are ripping off. I would say need not to buy treat me vouchers rather get the eye tests done from Specsaver with professional way.

Best Optometrists in Auckland, I have tried a lot of the others but Vision Centre really stood out for me because of their care and advice. They really seem to have the time for you as opposed to rushing you out. They also have really affordable quality frames with a wide range of choices. Highly recommend.

Not reccomended. Don't be deceived by their "Sale" ads. Went there few days ago for my wifes glassess as they were "on-sale". Consultation went well but when we were looking for options into their standard glassess that were on sale, the one in the reception was so pushy and insisting that we need to add this and that add ons( which costs around 300$) because my wife needs it. But we just insisted in just chosing the standard glass but the lady goes "then you might as well not wear glassess" We left the store and bought glassess in the other store.

I went in when i saw a special indicating 2 psirs of glasses for 99 dollars. I had my eye test and was pointed to frames to choose from and then was told the price was 847 dollars! I was desperate so paid. On collection my glasses were totally out of focus. The next optometrist badmouthed the previous optometrist from vision centre and another eye test was done. On collection the glasses were still not right. I have never worn either pair. Thank you to the optometrists accross the road for getting it right after another eye test and providing glasses for a fraction of the price. If anybody wants 2 free pairs of frames from vision centre please give me a call. What a waste of money and time.

Be very careful of the offer that is included in the e-mail they send, for all intents the offer leads you to believe that it covers the eye test and two pairs of glasses. This is not the case, the eye test alone comes to $165.00 and the frames an additional $99. This is blatant misleading advertising, they cover themselves by pointing out to the EXTREMEMLY small T&C's in the corner of the advert that you actually require a magnifying glass to read!!! I can't fault the eye test and the professional service from Christine although I was not informed of the additional $75 for the in depth examination of behind the eye and possible indication of other problems. I last used a voucher for exactly the same service pre-Covid and that cost $69, to use Covid as a response to the horrific escalation in cost is lame and unfounded. My advice is to ask questions BEFORE having the test and only proceed once you are completely sure of the costs!!!!!

Christine was great with the eye test. However not enough advice or experience given when choosing frames. The frames I got are way too big on my nose and don't stay in place they should have checked this on me at time of buying and advised accordingly. After going back for readjusting on 2 pairs of glassed the readers are no better and i have to keep pushing them up which is annoying. I've now left Auckland to live in Christchurch and vision cdntre are not there. Not really that happy with what I spent and frames I got.

Service was good but their check up fee is $70.00 and for my 13 years old daughter was super high and I thought it was supposed to be free?. I had some concern with their aggressive marketing method. My daughter felt suffocated and pressured when she was selecting her preferred eyeglasses because the two of their staff was with her all the time. The other staff also kept pressuring that she needs to choose her eyeglasses now. Other Center is only charging $45.00 for check up and Spec savers giving free check for the same age. Lesson learned in how to be a smart shopper. We ended up getting her glasses from other stores which turns out to be 70% cheaper. I felt gypped with the marketing techniques. Hopefully they’ll be able to read this comment and make some adjustments in their way of treating their customer?. I surely will not be recommending them
