★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely unpleasant experience. I went in to renew my driver's license. As I entered a polite young man acknowledged that I was wear ing a mask wearing exemption around my neck and guided me through the scanning and vaccine passport process. However at the counter I was challenged about my mask wearing exemption, asked to hand my card over and questioned about the reason for my exemption. I then had to ask twice for my card back. I was upset by this treatment and responded angrily. After leaving I phoned and asked for my apology to be passed on to the desk staff for my anger. I also asked for an explanation for the inappropriate and illegal (according to the MOH website) questioning when I had a clearly visible and legitimate mask wearing exemption card. I was told the manager would phone me back but this has not occurred. A very distressing unpleasant encounter from staff who are allegedly there to provide customer service. Please please learn the correct procedures and respect the rights of vulnerable customers during this time where kindness and consideration are paramount. I have given hundreds of Covid vaccinations and work with vulnerable people. I am doing my bit. You do yours

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were told we would have to wait at least 2 hours. They are too far away to drop car off and do other things (which you could do when they were in town), so a hour wait is out of the question. They don't take bookings, so you have to try your luck and be prepared for a wait.

I arrived at your testing station at 7.10am today and was the third vehicle in the queue and while I realize you are not open until 8am I was happy to wait.
After 8am while waiting I witnessed vehicles being jostled around and consequently several vehicles that arrived after me were put through the inspection process ahead of mine. I also witnessed four of your staff standing around two of them enjoying a coffee and all of them having a good laugh, this was at about 9am.
Is it company policy to take a break after less than an hour of not a lot of work? Also members of your staff appeared to wander around aimlessly in a zombie like state with very little work actually being done.
After having waited one hour and forty minutes after your opening time and my vehicle still waiting in the queue I was forced to request a refund and get on my way as I had to get to work.
I have been a regular customer for many years but am afraid that will not be the case in the future as I feel the service at you company has become nothing short of abysmal.
In reply to your response I don't see what more information I could provide, there have been other similar reviews of your poor service and clearly nothing has changed.
I will as previously stated be going elsewhere for my wofs and leaving reviews accordingly whether good or not.
I regret having to leave one star on this review as I don't feel it is deserved but unfortunately zero stars is not an option.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was going to say they're good. Inspection was efficient, but it's been two weeks now and they haven't uploaded warrant details so I can't renew the car rego. I'll have to spend time during working week hours chasing down a job they should have done.
