★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Lodge. My hosts were friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and tidy. And I made friends with the local cat who came to visit in my room. The Lodge is situated within a walking distance from the shops and surrounded by native bush and birdlife. Thank you for your kind hospitality! I highly recommend staying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely pleasant folks who run this B&B. Rooms clean and pleasant. Our bathroom tiny and glad I was not any larger. Spectacular breakfast in dining room. Invited to help ourselves to ripe grapes off the vine. Provided torches for night walk to glow worms on Raukuri track. Access up steep driveway and lots of steps so take minimal gear.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A wonderful place to stay run by the most accommodating hosts you could hope for. All the facilities were fully functioning and available for use during our stay. Richie had some great advice on what to see and do in the area, and how to photograph the glow worms. Lots of unexpected extras, such as the torches that were available and free to use so we could do a nighttime walk that we would have otherwise been unprepared for. We also appreciated the wide selection of teas at breakfast. Highly recommend this place for anyone staying in Waitomo.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful accomodation and very lovely and friendly owners. We were welcome by the hosts. At that time, we were the only guests, but we were given extremely good service, delicious food, good advice for outdoor activities. I can highly recommend it to anyone. :-)
