★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst ever Hotel experiences. Both of us were FULLY VACCINATED with full documents. My partner with NZ and international certification and scan code and passport ID, alas it couldn't scan on thier scanner for her only (maybe a slightly blurry image in retrospect) . Told us categorically to go to un-vaxinated places. 1/2 hour there, kicked out and ruined our holiday. This ain't New Zealand! Feels like jews in Germany. Manager on the phone said she owns the whole block so doesn't care about customers. We tried to be nice but.. Bunch of Karen's. No lake view from there anyway! Don't bother with this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A revamped 70s hotel that offers the traveller reasonable accommodation, meals and services at a competitive rate. All I want is a clean room, good bed and a shower. This hotel offers that and I can get travel laundry done at a very good rate, too. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful for all your local and immediate needs. I am a return guest and would be happy to recommend this accommodation for those seeking affordable rates...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well presented, Clean rooms let down by a lack of noise control, no air con and very bad water pressure also extractor fan doesn't work, doesn't deserve the reviews it has for an over priced stay

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed 4th & 5th January, 2022. Room was adequate and the reception was willing to negotiate the rate to a more realistic figure than the originally quoted $174/night.
Beds were king single which was good.
No air con, so hot at night

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst! Dated, dingy, disgusting. Requested queen and a single bed configuration, walked into 3 singles. No parking available, gas wall heater didn’t work so had to use tiny fan heater which didn’t heat up room. Toilet seat had a pube on it from previous guests. Bath tub had unpleasant stain in it. Over all room was tiny and bathroom even more so. Need to fully close door to sit on toilet. Had to carry luggage down flight of stairs to get to room and it was a maze to find. Waaay too expensive for what it is. Only good thing was location, so nothing to do with hotel.

Ice from reception is free.
Has a balcony and chairs.
4 Square across road and liquor store on premises. Also has couple restaurants and bars and one does room service.
Beds comfy as?
Shallow Bath.
Fridge is small and not cold enough.
The mountain view is very top of mountains only as another block of rooms in front.
The room can get hot and stuffy even with sliding door open on balcony.
Room quite small.
No one at reception in morning just put the key on the bench with the rest.
