β β β β β Wouldn't issue the money because sender omitted the middle name, despite first and last name matching. How ridiculous. Sender can't modify transaction, have to cancel and re-issue, with all assorted fees charged of course.

β β β β β If I could give a zero star, I would. Pretty illogical management and line of reasoning.
Also practically lying - when they put up poster saying "0 fee on $5,000 transfer" and literally charge you the fee in the same shop.

β β β β β Bad Experience.. Staff not helpful with issues related to system by them.
At least they contacted their main office to help sort out but they do nothing instead and told me to go and tell my sender to fix the problem.
If ONLY I could do NOT giving any STAR ill do it...

β β β β β I went to send money to Australia, and the lady at the counter who is representing you wanted a proof that the person I am sending money to is my friend, which I thought was the weirdest thing to ask. I understand asking for ID and other details which I was willing to provide however, proof of friendship? Really?!
I guess commonsense is something you can't train people to have.
I will raise a proper complaint with the management with the name of the employee, hope an action will be taken.

β β β β β Very bad customer service in Fiji specially Namaka Branch. They say money arrives in minutes, but even after a week later, my receiver went to collect and was told no cash in their branch and in none of Nadi Branches. They dont even have a fixed time frame as to when to come and collect money so what's the use of using this service. I would highly recommend people not to use western union money transfer in emergencies.

β β β β β I will be fair to these people. Their job is stressing and the amount of documents they ask for complies with New Zealand laws, no less, no more. I understand it is frustrating that most of customers have good intentions and missing one document is frustrating. I have been successful, but dont forget your physical id and proof of it.
