★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our huge music group (41 students and 4 teachers) fit perfectly into Westhaven Motel. The rooms were spacious and clean with a fridge, cooking facilities, plenty of kitchenware. The beds were comfortable and well laid out. At night (once the students went to bed) it was very quiet and it was lovely to hear the waves along the shore. Debbie was a fabulous host and made sure we had everything we needed for an amazing stay. We will certainly be back next time we are in the Bay of Plenty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great position. Older motel recently painted. Very clean. However motel 8 was set up for 7 people which meant double bed was against the wall making it difficult to get out of for oldies. Single bed other side to double made it difficult to move double from wall. Lounge had 2 single beds which you had to sit on to watch TV. Too wide, very uncomfortable and single chair ricketie. OK for families but really not for oldies. However it was well provided with necessities and best placed on harbour in Mt Mauganui with lovely views across the road.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couple of us stayed their 8th and 9th of April 2022 and enjoyed our stay ?
The location is excellent, central to everything restaurants and bars also walking distance and if you get hot ? whilst staying their, the beach is just across the road.
Pet friendly as well which is a bonus.
Thank you for a wonderful stay, will definitely be back.
