★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room 403 was terrible, not recommended. The room was dated and in a poor condition. Moulded curtains, broken window latch, flaky wall skin, bad smell... Good luck, if you got that room??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Don’t let the aged facade fool you. This old charmer has it all. Large warm quiet rooms, quality appliances, every tv channel possible, friendly professional staff and the best breakfast buffet I’ve encountered in years. Parking, close by bus routes and a brisk enjoyable walk into the city centre. The unholstered furniture in public areas looks worn out and entrance could do with some TLC… other than that I really was pleasantly surprised… and that hasn’t happened since Prague… If you want value for money then this is it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms were pretty good. Kind of depends on what room they corner rooms tend to be bigger. The room service was infrequent and they failed to make wake up calls at the right time. It is across the road from a 4 square and quite a few restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Room- a huge disappointment . We were first given a dark room with one very small window overlooking the laundry clothes line and some pipes. We’ve requested to be moved to a “better one” but both were filthy and dusty. No airconditioning. Bathroom has moulds. Carpet looks and feels dirty. There is a small fridge and was expecting bottled water. The rooms definitely need an upgrade.
Parking- not free, pay 20 per night.
Staff- friendly and accommodating. We’ve requested to move rooms and we were immediately accommodated by the pregnant staff. Phoned for a box of tissue and it was delivered in 10 minutes. Thank you.
Breakfast- included in the room rate. There isn’t much selection and the food is the same all 4 days we stayed. But it was ok. The dining is clean, the guy attendant always makes sure the tables are clean and sanitized, reminds guests to put on masks when not eating/seated.
Rating our stay 1/5 because the room was really hot and substandard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looking forward to my stay but was disappointed upon arrival after seeing the wonderful photos and the reception area. I had a dim room with windows facing brick wall, the curtains had mold on them, and dirty walls with paint peeling in the bathroom. As well as, the pillow on my bed had blood on it - not very appealing. Although pleasantly surprised with the buffet breakfast, lots of options and it was quite nice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The rooms were a bit dated but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean in the room. The price was great 140 for 3 adults which included a continental or cooked breakfast which there was plenty of. The price was better than another flash hotel where one of us slept on the couch which was not mentioned in the price. Who cares about the view. The fridge was working there were plenty of supplies and everything was there which we needed. The staff were friendly.
Well done at such s reasonable price including breakfast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a triple bed room and it was spacious, comfortable and clean. Beds were comfortable which was important as we preferred medium to hard beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel situated within walking distance to city centre and we just walked to places we wanted to visit in the city. Full breakfast was included and it was a good buffet. Will definitely book to stay here again next time we are in Wellington.
