I went there and waited for like 15 minutes and didn't have anyone check up on me or talk to me I think they should hire more staff. The hotel look luxurious and amazing tho and really really clean

First thing I noticed coming into room was a strange smell, sure the duvet on the bed hadn't been washed in months, smelt like something rotten and also noticed crusty food stains! There was hairs on the walls in the bathroom. Tea cups had stains on, found rubbish left in the room from previous guests. When paying over $100 for 1 person for 1 night I definitely expect to have clean and washed bedding, wouldn't recommend honestly

5th floor refurbished room. One of the booking websites claimed double glazing, however only 1 of the 4 windows in the room was double glazed. The wodows sills were filthy with mould. Ear plugs essential as location is very noisy. Bathroom extractor fan not working. Excellent location, and the downstairs bar has delicious food. The roof garden bar popular with youth.

If you call it a hotel, I would rate it 2.5-3⭐ out of 5. And If a luxury lodge, a 4 ⭐ out of 5. Location & Access: Located in Te Aro, it's pretty much in the heart of the city with everything at short walking distances Or you've got almost everything at your doorstep (delivery sevices like Uber Eats). Genuinity of description on website: It's pretty genuine. Just like any other businesses the promotion part exaggerates the facility quite a bit. The photos shown are around 85% true, filter does the rest. The rooms are clean and they've hired some friendly staffs to assist boarders with the available services. There's an elevator in the building for easy ups and downs. Message to the team: You guys are wonderful but the place needs some general renovations which can improve the ratings. Also, providing hand sanitizers and/or handwashes would be a plus in this pandemic era. Please note: I stayed at their King suite on the second floor and I've attached pictures from my stay at the venue for your easy reference. I wish you a memorable stay at this hotel. Tip ?: Sign up to Uber eats as they deliver there. You'll get a 20 NZD discount which can be used on your first order. Makes up for one time meal?.

Stayed in one of their refurbished rooms with a friend for a couple of nights. Cute rooms, small but does the job! Beds very comfortable and pillows were the best pillows I have ever had in accommodation. Walls are thin, windows as well, so expect street noise. Had someone on the floor sleeping through an alarm going off for about an hour while waking everyone else up but thats not the hotels fault. No hairdryer in room which we were given when asked for, there also desperately needs to be a couple of towel rails, or even one for the hand towel in the bathroom, there is nowhere to put anything!! Tea cups are tiny but ask at the desk for bigger cups and they will give them to you! Central to everything we needed, staff are really helpful and friendly, won't hesitate to come back (maybe with ear plugs)

Stayed for a weekend with my partner, photos looked amazing when we booked online, absolutely nothing like it looks on website, obvious signs of mould on roof and blankets smelt like they hadn't been washed in awhile, to top it off staff Manager Rob was very rude and ignorant. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place nor would I ever come back.

The greeting I got when I check in was amazing they were super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel the room I had I really clean and was had a lot of space to move around. The room service was really good as well. And the cafe they have on the cafe/bar they have located in the hotel is real good as well.

Great service and front desk staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bed and pillows very comfortable, fantastic if like me you like soft cloud mattress and pillows. The hotel advertises gym facilities, but the gym is off site, not close to the hotel and is only discounted. The bar restaurant does quick and easy food. Small and cozy but the outdoor smoking area tends to get busy, and is right next to the main indoor area, sending second hand smoke through the indoor dinning area. Parking is first in best dressed. Wilson's parking across the road, not recommended for SUV, Trade, Station Wagon vehicles. Affordable, if you don't require parking or gym facilities Location, in the main centre of the centre. Food us affordable and easy bistro style. Great staff in both the restaurant and hotel. 3/5 Stars
