★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor customer service for the drive to the airport. When we arrived at the office and called, we were told they would be back in 15 minutes. Over half an hour later both workers arrived back with the remains of their KFC. A very stressful drive to the airport which could have been avoided.

The car was great, the price was fantastic BUT the guys at Yesaway have to work on their communication skills and I'm not just talking about their English; their customer service needs work too. The guy on the phone was barely understandable when we called for a pick-up from the airport and the guy in the office took 15 minutes to sort the paperwork (which should've been straightforward) without saying a word. When we returned the car to the office it was completely empty but luckily we had a fairly short wait before someone turned up. I just didn't feel it was run very professionally.

A couple of things to expect:
The depot site is a fair distance from the airport but there is a free shuttle - make sure to allow plenty of time between dropping the car off and checking in, at least 30 min, or more to be safe.
The business was obviously set up to cater for the Chinese tourist market pre-pandemic and border closure so you'll find that the customer service and etiquette might not be up to Western standards, plus the car was all set up in Mandarin instead of English, but I wasn't bothered at all as the value for money is really good

We booked a car thru this place for a family weekend in Wellington but had to cancel as a family member got COVID we emailed this company & got a reply YESAWAY that it has been canceled but not realising we had been fobbed off to Economy car Rentals who took our $77.64 now this company would NOT REFUND as we had not taken our a cancellation policy of which we had NEVER been offered as we had NO idea who they were after many emails toing & froing $77.64 down the drain BEWARE of these companies as they are absolute rip off merchants very hard to deal with & we would hate to think how many more KIWIS & TOURISTS have been ripped off disgraceful service I suggest if you're needing a rental vehicle go to HERTZ, BUDGET ,THRIFTY but DO NOT USE YESAWAY ANYWHERE OR ECONOMY CAR RENTALS

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent, brand new cars 2018 Toyota Corolla, with GPS, Bluetooth, Road speed limits lights. Nice, tidy car.
Friendly customer service, once landed and ring them for pick up, they staff come very efficiently.
Would definitely use again, absolutely no need to pay at least twice as much with the other companies.
