★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious meals for dinner and yummy dim sum for yum cha lunch! Great selection of dim sum, all the classic faves. The dinner meals were absolutely outstanding. Quick and friendly service from the staff too. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Much improved since I last visited when they changed from Star Cafe to 11 Dim Sum. Decor has improved and service was excellent. Food is delicious but on the pricey side given the portion size. A tub of rice is $20 but you get 1 x refill. Soup as an entre was a good bonus and you can still order some Dim Sums at dinner time. EDIT: Went tonight and was told no Dim Sums at dinner time during weekends now

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really really busy around lunch, waited nearly 40+ minutes when walk in. Therefore space can be a little bit cramped. Recommend to book a day or more in advanced but they only take booking for 8 or more people. One of my family favourites so I think it's worth it because the food is always delicious. Service was pretty good considering how hectic the place is, sometimes just need to be a bit more assertive when following up.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wanted to try after reading about new improved food quality. Sadly conclusion: Dimsum is overrated here.
Pro: speed is impressive. Whilst we were told" I'll come back you you" by two different people before a third finally took our order slip, food started appearing almost instantaneously despite a very full restaurant of customers. Service was efficient and friendly. And environmentally friendly transfer l takeaway containers always great to see.
Sadly the food really isn't good. Durian puff had barely any durian flavor (elsewhere we'd literally get chunks of durian with it's amazing flavor), chicken feet was likewise low on flavor and less tender than the norm, pineapple bun was the worst we've ever had. Underbaked, the crumble was not crispy or crumbly at all and it felt like the buns had come out of the microwave rather than the oven. Not only was it underbaked soft but even on the slight soggy side. Egg tarts are decent, could still be slightly crisper cased and thinner, but already on the "above average" side for nz. Sadly overall too many "this isn't good" dishes for us to consider a return. Will try another restaurant next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for yum cha. Relaxing and modern ambience, clean & tidy and not a chipped piece of crockery to be seen! Good tasty menu selection although a tad on the pricey side but what they do is done well. Tables are spaced well apart during Covid restrictions and dishes are ordered from your table with a check list. One of the better yum cha places in the Howick/Botany area.
