β β β β β Lovely place to stay, friendly welcome, we were in the little cottage by the stream, you can here it from your room, gorgeous pool and top notch brekky - highly recommend.

β β β β β Unfriendly 'welcome' by owner ('you're early; 'the pool is closed' and 'your children aren't welcome to use our lawn') made for an unpleasant stay here. It was a shame that we had booked this place for a birthday getaway and the owners ruined this special trip for us. We will definitely not be returning and will not be recommending this place to our friends in Christchurch as we were made to feel like very unwelcome house guests.
