★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Suitable to turn around on the west bank side. Single lane bridge. Do not be fooled and stop on it. Usually some one wants to cross. You can see trout from the bridge and consequently fishers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice free campsite for both SC and NSC. Really busy so get in early to get a 'decent' space. Lots of sandflies, drop toilets are actually ok but bins were overflowing and very smelly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We liked this place because it catered for for both campervans and tent camping, it was right next to the river and it had toilets and recycling bins there although we had our own toilet. Just a nice spot in general and free to camp. Two night stay is what is suggested.

2 clean long drops
Nice shallow river perfect for a dip
Only downside, it is sandfly heaven so you'll need a good repellent!
You may have nicer/less so neighbours but not worse than any other camp site
this is a good free site, a gift from the tax payers for everyone to enjoy their adventure!
Note: please don't pile up your rubbish! Take it with you and respect the rules ✌️
