Frustrating, unprofessional service. Booked a taxi one hour in advance using their suggested web system. Taxi driver didn't show up on time. Called the operator 3 times to get updates but no one knew exactly when the next taxi would arrive, kept guessing, wasting my time... I had to call a friend last minute to give me a lift so I wouldn't lose my appointment. Horrific, pathetic experience

100% would not recommend this company. I booked a taxi 12 hours in advance, because I needed to catch a ferry. Whilst booking I made it very clear the importance of the taxi arriving on time. Not only did it not arrive on time - it never arrived. Go with Uber, don’t waste your time or money with this service.

Absolutely appalling service. Apparently when you make a booking that doesn’t actually guarantee that you have a booking? Even though you have a booking reference number? Booked a taxi weeks ago to collect us from a wedding venue and take us back to our accommodation. The wedding venue was a bit out of the way so no other options for transport, and the venue actually advised that taxis are booked through this company. I had multiple calls and voice messages left on my phone throughout the day about the taxi booking. Asking if I still needed it, even though I had phoned and confirmed that I did the day before? The tone I got from the person on the phone was appalling. Saying that they had been trying to get hold of me all day. When I said sorry I’m at a wedding and haven’t been on my phone all day and yes of course I still needed the transport. Apparently there was no van available (even though we had one booked?) and therefore 2 cars were going to be sent instead. Pick up was for midnight, at 11.30pm I was on the phone with someone confirming two cars would be sent to collect us at midnight. As you can probably gather, the taxis never showed up. When I rang to ask where they were I was told that yes they could see my booking but that no cars were available?! I just don’t understand how that makes any sense at all. A booking is a booking. Use a different word if what you actually offer is not a booking. We were then stranded at a place with few transport options and not much assistance from the taxi company. Thankfully Uber saved the day. We were initially told Uber didn’t service the area, but they did show up for us. The fact that you advertise you are “your number one trusted taxi service” is an absolute joke. We learnt the hard way and I would suggest that no one trust this company and that when you have a “booking” with them, it ain’t worth the paper it is written on. Thanks so much for ruining what had been up until that point a lovely day. 10/10 WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN

My first “proper” cab ride in Auckland since the pandemic started. Flight was late touching down and it was a toss up between waiting for an Uber or grabbing something in the ranks. I chose the latter and the experience quickly unfolded like a third world cab scam. And from the reviews here it’s looking like my experience isn’t that unique. All indicative signage about fares at the airport mean nothing. Halfway through the journey I’m told the credit card reader was “running a new system” and didn’t work well with foreign credit cards (all screens apart from the fare meter was blank, nothing indicated anything was even turned on), driver keeps fiddling with the meter for “additional airport charges”, there’s no driver ID or license plate indicator within the cab. Cabby asked for cash payment, and when I told him I didn’t have enough cash on hand and asked to stop at an atm where he started giving half a dozen or so excuses about why he couldn’t do that due to “safety concerns” (wasn’t aware Auckland had become such a lawless city since the pandemic), along with repeated reminders how scarce cabs were since the lockdowns and how lucky I was to even be in a cab (passive aggressive much?) while zooming down the freeway, etc. He even offered a “discount” if I paid cash off, even if it wasn’t in NZD (cabs these days even double up as foreign exchange service, it seems, wow) the clearly overinflated ride fare. Long story short, I know I definitely paid heaps more than I know I should but it was fairly late in the day, I’d just gotten off the back of a long journey and at least I got to my destination without any real drama, thankfully, which at this point was a consolation I’ll take. And I’ll put that extra I paid as a reminder lesson why I’ll stick to Uber (knowing roughly what my fare will cost AND not having to haggle over payment methods are a start) and stopped taking regular cabs in Auckland even prior to the pandemic. Thanks, chumps, and Kia Ora.

Amazing experience. Nice fresh clean car. So quiet. The driver held great conversation and delivered us safely to our destination. We absolutely would use this service again. ?

We booked our taxi a day in advance to take us to the airport and they didn't show up!!! Supposed to arrive at 5.50am; we called at 6am - apparently they don't actually start looking for a driver until 10 MINUTES before they are meant to arrive!!! We live on the North Shore so no drivers near us! It is now 6.20 am (30 MINUTES) after we were meant to have a taxi AND THEY STILL HAVE NOT ARRIVED. We will now miss our holiday flight :( DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY.

Arrivals NZ Airport 06/05/2022: Not very impressed with your taxi service at the airport. One of your taxi drivers suggested we catch a bus to the IBIS Airport Hotel to find out by the bus driver that they no longer go to the hotel after midnight. As our flight was delayed we had arrived at 1:45am on Friday 6th May into Auckland International Airport. We went back to the taxi rank and asked a taxi driver whom drove a white van if he could take us to the Ibis Airport hotel. Taxi driver whom was Indian told us that he can't take us because it won't be worth it for him and suggested we walk to the hotel stating that it was only a short walk. I was gobsmacked at the suggestion as I had my 4 yr old Grandson and my pregnant daughter travelling with me. I told the driver that I am NOT going to allow my pregnant daughter and 4 yr old Grandson walk at 2am in the morning! Taxi driver then said that he'll take us to the Ibis Airport hotel for $30!!!!!!!!!! This is what your taxi drivers are resorting to is ripping off travellers whom have just arrived in NZ! We travelled from Perth to be welcomed by your greedy scheming taxi driver whom had no empathy for our plight to get to our hotel he had no thoughts of our safety especially just arriving into NZ at the early hours of the morning. Disgusted and very disappointed with Auckland Co-op Taxis! Never again will I use your service!!

WORST TAXI RIDE EVER! The ride was paid for by our insurance company and all of that was understood but 2 minutes into the ride the driver “Sunny 82” said that there was an issue with the request and threatened to pull over and leave us in the side of the highway! We called AA insurance as a courtesy and because he kept threatening us that we would need to pay and AA was helpful said they would fix it. After 5 minutes the driver demanded that we call them again because it wasn’t fixed and when we refused he started yelling at us! I felt very unsafe. Even after I took video of the interaction the driver continued to tell and state that he needed us to tell him where to go. And when we asked if he had gps he started to tell again. He dropped us off but circled around 3 times while we waited outside our house for the tow truck that was dropping off our car. I’m forwarding all footage to AA insurance and posting on social media.
