★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Burt was really helpful, really nice place to stay. new shower block was really really nice. kitchen facilities were ok. the local bike ride needs to be ridden the right way round or the signs arent the right way round. awesome trails for the kids.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fabulous holiday at top10 with the kids. Facilities were clean and showers & toilets with ensuites were better than hotel facilities. Kids playground was safe and well maintained. We recommend the top 10 Hanmer for best holiday facilities. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very expensive. Pretty stressful when we arrived. Had a voucher for 2 adults and they wanted to charge an extra $64 for 2 children on a powered site. The phone was going crazy, the man asked the lady for help but she didn’t really seem interested. Finally got to our site which they had the sprinkler on so everything was soaking. The bathrooms were dirty (yes the new ones that are heated). The kids loved the playground that was a bonus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have stayed at top 10’s all over NZ and enjoyed, but this was disappointing. Had booked 2 tent sites but some family couldn’t make it due to Covid restrictions. The staff wouldn’t let us cancel the second site, so we had to pay for an empty site for three days ( even though it was just after New Years and they were turning people away who were looking for camp sites). The woman at reception seemed very busy and pretty unfriendly. Other staff were great and the facilities were generally clean. Some facilities not yet up to the standard of top 10s in other parts of the country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent facilities, new shower block is of standard you'd expect from a four star hotel. Nice relaxed atmosphere amongst mature trees. Pricey, but facilities are excellent, and the money for that has to come from somewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another Top Ten of good quality. Clean and tidy facilities. Plenty of space for our 12m bus. Good views close to town and forest cycle track. We'll worth the trip. Staff are friendly and helpful

After biking to Hamner Springs with our 3 teens, we stayed in a family cabin at the Top10. Marty and his team were super friendly. Our room was large, comfortable and had everything we needed for a great stay. They even had a huge bike shed with tools for our bikes, which was a big bonus for us. We haven't stopped talking about the stunning bathrooms and BBQ facilities. And, to top if all off, the coffee was a welcome treat in the morning too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really clean facilities! Helpful staff. Easy to navigate. Recently upgraded bathrooms - the only minor issue with the bathrooms was that the only change table was in the disabled bathroom instead of the family bathrooms. However, we loved that the bathrooms and toilets were individual rooms rather than a shared block. We were really happy with our stay!
