It was a fabulous trip my husband and I did to the Maori Cravings. We were very impressed with the price and the skipper was superb. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. My husband talked to her and asked questions and when he left she said " Nice to talk to you mate". The selection of teas, the coffee and the freshly baked muffin added beautifully to this journey. If a trout had been caught I'm sure we would have tried it.. The skipper( didn't catch her name, sorry) was such an expert at manoeuvring the boat so everyone could see the carvings. It was such a treat as I lost my brother on New Year's Day and I helped look after him for a,week before which was traumatic so my husband and I had gone down to Taupo for a long weekend. This really helped to make our weekend fabulous. I am telling everyone about it. THANK YOU.

A definite experience to do! The lake is bigger than you can see, beautiful surrounding bays and amazing history!

Everything was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend and will be doing again. From the price ($35 per head), to the commentary, to the freshly cooked muffins on board. It was absolutely perfect. We were fortunate enough to head out on a really good day. Sun in the sky, the lake was really flat. Was absolutely perfect. Not a critique of the tour company but a message for people looking to do this tour or something similar, please do not hog the viewing platforms on the boat. My partner and I were unable to view on the front platform because people refused to move. We couldn't get on to the viewing platform at all the whole cruise. Then when the boat turns around come rushing to the back of the boat to look again, it isn't fair and you shouldn't be taking the experience away from other people. Common courtesy. Please be courteous and let everyone have a look.

Worth every $$ ,such a great experience, the skipper and workers are all very nice and it's very interesting listening to storys about the lake, islands ,fish, carving etc. The carving is so much more beautiful in person and something everyone should tick of there bucket list. Unfortunately we didn't catch any trout on our tour but they had some for all of us to try which was cool. Kids also loved the experience.

Cruise Lake Taupo while being informed a little about the history, culture and geography of the area and lake. Visit a Maori rock carving with plenty of photo opportunities. Suitable for all ages. Complimentary tea, coffee, or hot chocolate served with a muffin. Or if you'd rather, you can purchase something from the bar. Very enjoyable!

Went on the 1030 cruise. Staff were very accomodating and knowledgeable. The cruise is exactly as they say and you get right up to the Māori rock carving. Make sure to get a few drinks from the bar to enjoy the trip even further! Highly recommend these guys!

Really mellow cruise. The crew were really lovely and accommodating. Muffins were yummy. Its a nice relaxing cruise if you just want to slow the pace down a little bit if your in Taupo on holiday. One of the staff caught a fish and asked if anyone would like to take it home. Affordable activity.

Mum and I did the maori carving cruise, what a beauty she was. I'd like to give a big shout out to the team and company for an amazing experience today. It was great to see that the staff had amazing knowledge about the area and carvings. Both of us will definitely be back in no time. PS thanks for the amazing muffin they were onnn
