He went out of his way to show me some suitable properties and was generous in sharing his knowledge of the market. His approach was fair and professional. Although in the end I decided a city apartment wasn't right for me, I can say that Sam's definitely a friendly and conscientious agent to deal with.

The speed, efficiency and professionalism demonstrated by City Sales for my Mount Eden apartment has been amongst the best I have experienced. We have dealt with a few agents over the years so we can say with confidence that Scott was exceptional. He understood that being overseas has unique challenges, he met these with being understanding, available and prompt with responses, despite the annoying time zone difference. Scott was genuine, professional and friendly. He really did go above and beyond (numerous visits to the apartment to take videos, connecting us to building management and utility set up, lawyer and contractor recommendations - basically everything!). Both times the experience has been pleasant with no pressure tactics, genuine understanding of my needs and willingness to go beyond the expectations. I have dealt with many real estate agents, and I can attest that Sam Woods has been among the most responsive ones, quickly answering queries, or setting the right expectations. Even though I did not get the property of choice, Sam came back with properties that would be of interest, and I finally settled on one. Even during alert level 3, we were able to settle with his help and guidance. Pleasure recommending him and the business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Terrible experience with renting and the property manager, 1 Hobson st Auckland CBD.
got the apartment unclean and sticky kitchen, power out, bathroom leaking and bed bugs. I had to spend the first month chasing them to fix the issues while paying the rent and they refused to get the apartment cleaned unless it is on my expense even with sending photos.
The funny part is that when I left, I was forced to pay for professional cleaning while the apartment was way cleaner than the time I got it few months back and got deducted from my bond.
I complained and asked the property manger at least to give a complaint form or connect me to a manager, and I was simply ignored again and just had to sign the paper to get my remaining pond.
I wouldn't really mind if it was at least clean when I received and it is part of their exist routine exit.

Denise who has left was an absolute gem, she tried her hardest… Raewyn Lauder on the other hand, I’m sorry luv, get out and enjoy retirement…
