β β β β β Strongly recommend avoiding this place. As others have said, they used refurbished (used) products. Whether they are repairing your screen or selling you a phone, strong chance they are refurbished. Screen replacements are likely taken out of other damaged phones and reused. Really would not people spending their hard earned money getting scammed here.

Cool Mobile provided me with exceptionally good service!
My son bought me a new cell phone. I liked it and it served me well until I installed the myPhonak app (manages pricey hearing aids). It failed to function, despite the cell phone being on its compatibility list and meeting all the stated requirements; of course myPhonak had an 'assumes no responsibility' escape clause, nor did it spring to my aid.
So I took the cell phone back to Cool Mobile, hoping that I had done something wrong and they could correct my error. Cool Mobile was really helpful and tried to resolve my problem. Don at Cool Mobile spent hours tracing the problem, to no avail. In the end Cool Mobile gave me credit for my cell phone towards the purchase of a different model on which the myPhonak app worked.

β β β β β I went in for a battery replacement for my iPhone. They charged $60. The battery is awful, clearly a used part as it barely works, and I am pretty sure they destroyed or stole my screen because the screen suddenly developed a series of issues and they gave me a βfreeβ screen protector to cover it. Now considering getting a new phone. Avoid this place.

β β β β β I locked on to a 75% price drop on a new mobile phone on Trade Me a few months ago, and the manager said I can pay and pick up in the store with that price. Haven't got any issues with the phone. They even gave me 2 styles of screen protectors for free (that would had been the cost of postage) .
