★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately after our trip we received a $600 bill to replace 10 belt buckles. I was confused with this as apart from 1 belt buckle I thought we left the bus in a good state! however apparently 10 belt buckles had been damaged. Looking at the photos they provided to us of the "damaged" belts this was ridiculous and obviously they could've bent them back. In the end I believe we were charged for the buckles poor flimsy design, they were already flimsy before we hired the bus so Cross country rentals were trying to avoid payment for the new Buckles and charged us instead. Me and the group are very disappointed with this as the trip had been great, but this charge has put a dampener on a great day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a 12 seater for a family trip around the south island rather than taking 3 cars. Staff were very helpful. The vehicle was extremely comfortable and easy to drive which was a concern driving a big vehicle. Vehicle had lots of luggage space so no need for a trailer which was a plus too. Booking process was easy and collection very simple.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rented a Ute for a 4X4 Tour with a tour company, vehicle was excellent, did exactly as needed! They even had fire extinguishers etc. so I didn't need to buy these after flying in. Comfortable, and staff had good advise around driving, security and safety. Had a blow out on the tour (due to my driving :D), they were quick to get a repair agent onto repairing it which was appreciated.
