We had a Lake side room in the Heritage part of the building, the view was outstanding and the room itself was also one of the nicest we've stayed in. The hotel staff were warm and welcoming. Our dinner at the hotel restaurant was great, made even more spectacular by the waitress who wowed us with her expert knowledge of the food and its local origins, plus the wine pairing she recommended was spot on. Highly recommend this place for a special occasion stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eichardt's is the most exquisite hotel experience I have ever had the privilege to enjoy. The staff are exceptional, and the attention to detail in the hotel decor - well, nothing short of remarkable is an understatement. My partner lost her phone, and the staff could not have been more caring, with the manager himself picking it up from the airport, where it had been handed in. The views from the our suite across Queenstown Lake were breathtaking!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply perfect. This place defines what luxury travel is all about. We were welcomed by Laura who was absolutely brilliant. She made us feel at home immediately and kindly showed us to our Lake Suite apartment which is up there with the best view, best location, best bathroom, best night sleep and best service we have ever experience!. In the evening, Luke and the team looked after us in the lovely quaint bar where we dined from a 5 star tapas menu. Compliments to the chef for a great menu. We will remember our stay in Eichardts Queenstown for a very long time. Simply the best.

Side note: They have the highest quality egg dishes (scrambled, fried, etc.) I've tasted.
