★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love the choices in terms of goods that Farmers offer although I rarely shop there. Last minute shopping this year meant I ventured into the cosmetic section! In short, if it weren't for this one lady with a head scarf who helped me out they would not have got my business. She remained professional while the majority were busy dodging customers and having impromptu meetings. Year after year my experiences are similar no matter which department is visited.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I know my name is "Karen" but I can assure you I'm not one of 'those' Karens. I've had it up to my short bob haircut with the way the management rudely treat the staff at this store. It's just not on, simply ridiculous. I encourage the staff to quit and find a new job elsewhere. The staff are also unhelpful especially the ones at the health and beauty counter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Purchased only a few items in the Mens department. Placed all items on the counter to be scanned prior to payment. I was presented with a large Farmers paper bag with my so called paid items in. I returned home to find two pairs of thermal pants and a thermal top was not in the bag. I called the store and was told they’re behind the counter, the cashier forgot to put them in the bag! My receipt showed I had paid for the items. It was another hour and half to go and collect them and return home on a packed long weekend. I asked for a pair of free socks as a gesture goodwill and was told, no way. Top effort Farmers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a good time at Farmers in Northlands Mall and we found the young salesman there who helped us, was very honest, helpful and knowledgeable with the range in toasters and small appliances. Even though we made the decision not to buy, we enjoyed very much talking with him. 5 stars
