★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Immoral, corrupt, and happy to watch as a small family business goes broke due to a situation that was created by another party that is insured by them. This is despite the fact the other party has admitted liability. I am disgusted by the behavior of this company. I am working on a way of this not being able to happen again, but in the mean time, do not use this company.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They harp on about how 'farming' and 'rural' orientated they are, but they couldn't even confirm if they could insure a horse - then when we called them back they never picked up... so we went elsewhere.
If you're going to market yourselves as the big 'farming' insurer whose more onto it than other insurers - actually do that! AMI probably do horse insurance better lol.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is probably the worst insurance company in New Zealand. If you make a claim, expect to wait months on end, and to be mucked around until you threaten to take legal action against this disgrace of an insurance company.
You're better off rolling the dice on google search and picking the first one you see. Steer clear from FMG insurance. Would not even recommend this to my enemies.
