★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful Nature walk. The track clearly marked,easy to follow,not steep. We took 3 hours return with lunch stop and lots photos stops. Will need insect repellent to keep mosquitoes at bay. The waterfall itself..Average.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great walk. Pretty good for people with knee injuries but there are a few tricky rocky pathways and wet little streams, so you may get your shoes wet. But walking from the water taxi to the falls is approx 3hrs return so a great day trip. Use walking poles if you have them. It makes the difference. Beautiful place to walk and lovely to hear the river rushing nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful waterfall about 5km in from the north end of the Milford Track. Great spot to have lunch and a dip if you are keen. Watch out for the cheeky weka’s. They like to pinch your lunch when you are not looking ?.
