★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Driven by this place multiple times and still amazed by the amount of waterfalls you can see from here. I took many videos of the waterfalls but not sure how to upload them here. The Keas are really unafraid of humans but help to chase them off the roads for their own good!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Definitely stop here on a good day before entering the tunnel. There are rough tracks up the mountain sides which are great for exploring. The kea are extremely inquisitive, so don't be surprised to find part of your window lining ripped off when you get back. They caused $800 worth of damage on the Audi, but I mean, what can you do apart from just watch and let them rip it apart? They're adorable.
