★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove halfway across Auckland to exchange a birthday present. Was told can only exchange or return within a month. This purchase was 7 weeks ago. Staff were not friendly or helpful at all. After getting home i noticed that the receipt was not given back either , I googled Michael Hill Jewelry and what do I see straight away...." Easy 60 Day Returns. 100% Happy Or Money Back. Styles: Bangles, Earrings, Wedding Bands."
Not only was the staff member lazy, but clearly doesn't know or care about their return policy. SHAME ON YOU!
Will never be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was very busy when I went there. There was a little bit of distancing but not the staff's fault as they were busy. Needs to be a bit more control of people entering the shop. I felt a bit anxious while waiting. People were wearing masks but I still felt quite anxious. This was my first time out of my usual area for shopping but I had to get my diamond rings cleaned for the lifetime warranty. Very grateful to the staff who tried to make it comfortable for me.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went in this afternoon to return a watch that I had purchased for my partners birthday. I showed my partner the watch and he did not like it and came in for a refund. The staff appeared to be angry and disappointed in me wanting to get a refund and this resulted in my receiving poor customer service from the staff member who just seemed angry with me. I was extremely disappointed as when I was purchasing the watch the same staff member was very friendly and approachable, after today it just felt like she wanted the money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Customer service when it comes to returning faulty products deemed as faulty by Michael Hill has been absolutely shocking. They have a 30 day return policy it has been 4 months and our return is still dragging on.
To many policy’s and processed are getting in the way of what really matters in these situations which is the customer service aspect.
I would definitely not recommend purchasing any large ticket items as the after sale service doesn’t align with the price tag. They are great when selling you items but lack the follow up experience.
This being said I am awaiting a resolution and will update after we reach an outcome.

It was a stressful experience due to inexperience and leaving things to the last minute. ??♂️ Priti the store manager that approached me helped me out tremendously. Her kind manner, personal interest in clients and patiently making sure that they are satisfied with the item they select makes her in my opinion a prime example of what excellent customer service is. ?? Thank you very much. They have nice varieties of rings to select from also.
