β β β β β For the price paid, it falls woefully short for over 160 per night for a private double bedroom.
The room was sufficient for a backpackers but the price point wasn't anywhere near at the rate of a backpackers and given that there are hotels in queenstown at a similar price point, they have to be held at the same standard.
Advertisement did not adequately demonstrate how small the room was. There is MINIMAL room to walk around the room. Room wasn't cleaned once in 5 days. Kitchen is incredibly small given the number of people they attempt to serve and their warm room is also too small given the number of patrons they have

β β β β β The pods are good and different to usual set up. The level of customer service is not equal by all staffs. Beds wouldn't get made up in time and if they did it was not vacuumed even though reminded the housekeeping staff. The tone of certain employees are not very customer focused rather sounds rude. The walkway gets extremely cold like walking outside in winter not a sheltered feeling. The noise travels from room to room as well as walkway to room.
The location is great but finding a parking is a mission.

β β β β β Stayed in a 8pod female only room with my mum, her first hostel experience. In the heart of the town and close to everything. There is a kitchenette but it's quite small and you can only eat in there. No hang out room other than miss Lucy's rooftop bar which is really nice but you can not take your own food in there. I will definitely stay here again.

β β β β β The staff were very accommodating and helpful. Wouldn't recommend pods if light sleeper or struggle with heat- good quiet ventilation would change this.
The room with ensuite was great and well priced for qtown
Would stay in a room again, thanks Jucy!

β β β β β Definitely the worst hostel I ever went. The beds are uncomfortable, the room is hot like a sauna with no windows, the kitchen is so small it is impossible to cook if someone else is cooking.
But the worst happened when I leave, I check under my bed if I didn't forget anything and I have seen mold on the bed (see on the photo). I told the staff but they just thank me to tell, they didn't offer a reimbursement or something similar.
The only good thing is the price, yes it is a cheap hostel but even with that price it should be much more clean!!

β β β β β I am a fan of jucy pods hotel I have used them in Japan. They offer privacy and comfort that backpackers dont.
The one thing they lack is a common area
As the pods do not have tv or radio service as they do in japan.
But the rooms are comfortable all the facilities are kept immaculately clean so no complaints
The staff are friendly and helpful
Give these guys a go when your in queenstown

β β β β β Jucy Snooze is the best value budget accomodation if your looking for a cheap place to stay in Queenstown. It's easy to book, and has excellent amenities including high pressure hot showers! The rooms are private, clean, and comfortable, and the staff are very helpful. Awesome location in the middle of Queenstown and super backpacker friendly.

β β β β β Would not recommend - noisy and bright rooms.... not sure why there is a need to illuminate the whole room when charging your phone - and the blind in your pod is not sufficient to black it out. Like sleeping in daylight. Paid extra to be in 4 bed room that happened to be in the middle of the lobby and next to a very noisy sliding door - very limited sleep and awkward when walking to the bathroom through a busy lobby. This coupled with poor customer service means I won't be giving this place another go. Also had to lift up the mattress in my pod to flush out a buzzing insect and won't forget how gross that was under the mattress. Head to the Adventure Queenstown Hostel 100m away for a far superior experience.
