β β β β β My wife and I were impressed from the moment we walked into the well appointed room. There were many thoughtful touches. The bed is very comfortable and the shower or spa bath are both great for relaxing. The location is also very handy to restaurants and the hot pools in Hanmer.

β β β β β The B&B was presented highly, nice touches and wonderful hosts. Nice view of the mountain from the ranch slider. About a few minutes drive to the main centre of Hamner Springs.
Would stay here again.

β β β β β I have opened Hotels and stayed at some of the best properties overseas,. Koinonia in Hamner is understated, but exceeded all my expectations. You have your own personal backyard with amazing vistas of the mountain. After a good night's sleep, you wake up to home-made yoghurt and English muffins which are complimentary , plus I have to mention the personal touch were you find your name on the entrance to the room welcoming you. Well done Koinonia, if your interested in staying, call them direct you'll get a better rate

β β β β β Had a wonderful, relaxing time at Koinonia. Viv and Keith provide a home away from home. Lots of thoughtful touches such as books to read, movies to watch, toiletry items in case you forgot something, your dishes are washed for you, homemade cookies, chocolates by the bed and a delightful spa bath. Plenty of privacy and an outdoor area with a range of seating. Good communication and helpful recommendations provided. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would happily return if we are in the area.

β β β β β Enjoyed a relaxing stay in Hanmer Springs. Very lucky to have had Viv and Keith look after us, a modern and clean room with your own (new) bathroom and spa bath. Nice quiet location, just out of town (but an easy walk or few minutes drive), nice outdoor space to enjoy as well. Everything was taken care of, relaxing breakfast, bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when next passing through.

β β β β β Koinonia Bed and Breakfast is an elegant, cosy, private unit adjoining the amazing hostβs home. Vivienne is such a welcoming host with high attention to detail providing everything I needed for my one night, and more. The bathroom includes a luxurious double spa and a very inviting shower, not to mention the bidet with a heated toilet seat for those chilly mornings. And everything is sparkling clean. The variety of breakfast foods supplied for the continental breakfast was amazingβ¦so much yummy goodness. And just a short walk from town centre. Great for a personal retreat or romantic weekend. Thank you for a wonderful restful time. I will be back again.

β β β β β Absolutely brilliant accommodation, my wife and I stayed here for 1 night to celebrate our birthdays, and what a lovely experience! Viv is a wonderful host, the room is exceptional with fantastic views over the mountains. Very clean, quiet, with your own private outdoor patio area. Well equipped with everything you could need, exceptional bathroom. The supplied breakfast was great, oh, and the homemade cookies superb! Thanks for a great stay Viv!

highlight. Excellent hosts with fantastic local knowledge of places to eat and things to do in the region. Definitely recommended for a wee getaway to rest and revitalize!
